These photos show a woman in her early 40s before and after lower eyelid filler injections. Before the procedure, she has under eye bags which gave her a tired look. Prominent under eye bags are usually best treated with lower blepharoplasty surgery, but this patient wanted to try a non-surgical correction prior to thinking about surgery. Filler was placed under the eye bags to help blend the eyelid-cheek junction and camouflage the under eye puffiness. This patient was able to achieve her goals without surgery, but patients with more prominent bags usually do much better with surgical correction.
