Some patients want a subtle tweak from their surgery and others want to “go for it”. These photos show a woman in her late 50s before and four months after upper blepharoplasty surgery. She has some makeup on in the after photo, but I think you can still see the difference the surgery made. Prior to surgery, the excess skin on her upper eyelid gave her a tired, sad look. After surgery, she looks younger and more refreshed without looking fake or overdone. Note how she looks happier and more approachable even with the same facial expression. Not everyone wants this dramatic a difference from their surgery. I customize the amount of correction for each patient based on their individual goals.
