These photos show a woman in her mid 40s who underwent upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery. The after photos are taken six weeks after surgery. Swipe to see photos taken in similar lighting both with and without a camera flash. Photos taken without a camera flash highlight shadowing in the lower eyelids, while flash photos are best for evaluating the upper eyelids. These photos show the power of eyelid surgery to transform the appearance of the entire face. After surgery she looks more youthful and less tired without looking unnatural or overdone. Some patients want a subtle change from surgery and others want to “go for it”. Surgery is catered to the individual anatomy and goals of each patient.
