Project Description
These photos show a woman in her late 50s before and three months after bilateral upper blepharoplasty with right ptosis repair. Botox was used to treat her overarching brows and relax them to a more normal position.⠀ ⠀ After surgery, she looks younger and more awake but still looks like herself. ⠀ ⠀ Ptosis repair was performed on the right side to elevate the height of that eyelid and excess skin was removed from both sides. ⠀ ⠀ This patient also had a tendency to pull her forehead up causing an overly arched lateral brow. Patients with droopy eyelids often do this to help keep their eyes open. After years and years of pulling the forehead up this becomes a habit, which can persist even after corrective surgery. ⠀
