This is an example of a subtle upper blepharoplasty result. This is a woman in her early-50s before and three months after upper blepharoplasty surgery. Removing the excess skin on her upper eyelids helps open her eyes and gives her a more youthful, less-tired appearance. Most patients in their 40s, 50s, and 60s considering eyelid surgery want their eyes to look like they did when they  were in their 20s and not to look too “different”. If patients want a more dramatic change, that can often be accomplished as well. Its all about communicating and making sure the surgeon and patient are on the same page.
