These photos show a woman in her early 30s before and after lower eyelid fillers. Before the procedure, her under eye bags give her a tired look. After the procedure she looks refreshed without looking overdone. Notice how much the color of her dark circles improve when there is less shadowing in the area.⠀ ⠀ Patients with this type of anatomy are the hardest to treat. In the area of hollowing, there is almost no tissue between the skin and the underlying bone. Fillers needs to be placed carefully in small amounts to avoid lumps and an unnatural look.⠀ ⠀ I suspect we will be able to add additional filler in another six months once her face adjusts to the filler that was already placed. Adding too much at once would give her an unnatural look.⠀
