This page shows before and after photos of actual patients who have had lip fillers with Dr. Mitesh Kapadia.
Lip augmentation is a common procedure in our office. Some patients have naturally thin lips and others have volume loss and lines due to aging. If you want really big lips, Dr. Kapadia is not going to be a good fit for you and we recommend you search for another provider. If you want to add volume and reduce lines in your lips, but still look natural, then you are looking in the right place.
Patients are often scared of looking overdone or having duck lips afterward. Lips need to match a person's face. People with thin, narrow faces look really odd with large lips, while patients with rounder faces can often tolerate more volume. Subtle volume can also help reduce wrinkling and make lips look more youthful.

About lip fillers
Filler injections to the lips are usually performed in the office with topical numbing cream, but nerve blocks are also possible for additional comfort if desired. Most patients feel there is moderate discomfort, but that the pain is tolerable. The procedure takes approximately ten minutes to perform and can often be performed during the same visit as a consultation.
Lips are usually swollen for 2-3 days after the procedure and may look overcorrected during this time. We recommend stopping all blood thinners including aspirin, Motrin/ibuprofen and Alleve for at least two weeks prior to minimize bruising. Patients can drive themselves home after the procedure.
Dr. Kapadia can give you a price estimate at the time of your consultation, but most patients need one of vial of filler to complete this treatment. Our prices for filler injections are listed in the prices section of this website.
