These photos show a patient in her late 20s who had filler injections for dark circles under her eyes. Dark circles can be caused by different factors. This patient had hollowing under eyes which caused shadowing in overhead light. By adding volume to the hollow area with dermal fillers, there is less shadowing and less under eye darkness. The change is subtle, but leads to a less tired look. This patient had seen another doctor who recommended surgery, but I was able to meet her goals with a less invasive and much less expensive option.
