These photos show a woman in her early 40s before and after lower eyelid and midface filler injections. Four vials of filler were used over two sessions, which were spaced one month apart. The after photo is one month after the second session. This patient has dark circles under her eyes caused by two separate problems: 1. Lower eyelid and midface hollowing 2. Hyperpigmentation Filler injections can address the hollowing, but not the pigmentation. As you can see even though there is residual pigmentation, her under eyes look much less dark after treatment. After treatment she still looks like herself, just more refreshed and less tired. Notice how she doesn’t look “odd” from overly aggressive filler treatments.
